And that's just the beginning.

There's no tension on the antenna elements. They suspend from the heavy-duty 3/16" support rope. And that stuff is STRONG! 770 lb break strength, double braided Dacron/Polyester. It's designed to be antenna support rope, so it's UV resistant (of course) with very low stretch and very high abrasion resistance.

The package includes 75 feet of high quality ladder line. Unlike some other antennas, there is no "magic length" to the feed line. You can add (or subtract) as needed for your installation. Since getting ladder line into the house can be a challenge, you may find it more convenient to transition to coax right outside the house. For best performance and highest efficiency, keep the coax as short as possible.

You'll need an antenna tuner with this. Although many modern transceivers have built-in tuners, in most cases they will lack the needed tuning range to cover all of the bands. We also suggest a 1:1 balun at the end of the ladder line. If you plan to operate the antenna on 160M, make sure your balun is rated for that, and for your intended power level.

The HybridDX™ measures just 79 feet end to end. 100 feet of support rope is included. Minimum suggested installation height is 35 feet, and you'll do a lot better if you can get it higher up.

The antenna is sold as a kit. We do the hard parts. You'll need to string the wire and rope through the spreaders. Clear and simple instructions are provided.
