Great for building transformer baluns and ununs. Mix #43, ideal for HF and lower VHF frequencies. Using a toroid like this greatly increases the effectiveness of an impedance transforming balun or unun, compared to a rod or air core.
Includes a 100pF 3KV capacitor, recommended for use in a 49:1 unun designed for End-Fed Half-Wave antennas. Note that we also carry magnet wire for winding those transformers.
For RFI suppression, a better choice is our Mix #31 toroid cores.
